Rock of the Dead for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

I did not have to buy this abomination of a game. I was intrigued by the concept, but the execution is terrible. It doesn't have the feel of playing guitar at all. The music is horrible. Bad game.

So when I threw this into my PS3 after getting it in the mail, I had high expectations for this game. A mash up between the music and zombie genres?? Why wouldn't it be entertaining? BOY, WAS I WRONG!!!! After about 10 minutes of gameplay, I had to stop playing it cause it wasn't worth the effort of playing. Having to use a guitar to attack and kill zombies isn't as appealing as it sounds. This game actually reminded me of House of the Dead, except you have to use a guitar instead of a gun. The only redeeming quality that I found about this game was that there was some Rob/White Zombie music sprinkled throughout the section of the game that I played, but even with that, it was the same section of the song replayed over and over and over again. Gameplay was horrible, music was horrible......I actually slightly regret wanting to try this game out.
