I rented this game for PS3 via Gamefly assuming I could export songs onto the HDD and play with my Rock Band 2 Disc. However, you can't export the songs with the Game Disc, I just found out you need the Instruction Manual and use the Code to DL the disc content. So I figured I'd play the whole Track Pack disc and Download whichever songs I liked on the Rock Band Store but realized it doesn't recognize Guitar Hero's Instruments. It recognized the guitars and drums as a standard controller (microphone).
So long story short, you can only play the Disc if you have Rock Band's Instruments and you can't export the songs onto your HDD unless you have the instruction manual. :(
Renting this game via Gamefly was a complete waste of time.
