not much has changed from the previous rock band, but there are some new clothing options etc

a whole new 84-song set list, plus, for 5 dollars, transfer 20 songs from your copy of rb1 to this one, plus, with the purchase us get 20 free DLC songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also, guitar hero 3 guitar works for this, and so with just that, you can play the bass and guitar!!!

all thats left is the mic, which is inexpensive, and the improved drums, which arnt worth it, too expensive, and you cant return them in 7 days, like u can with the mic

It hasn't been too long since the first Rock Band came out, but Rock Band 2 changed quite a bit. I haven't fully explored everything that you can do, but there is much more music to choose from. There are set lists you can play, or create. When you create a band you can be whoever and change it at anytime and still have the same scores up. The songs you can play at any level you choose, you don't have to go into a new game just to do so. And also if you have another person with you, you can add them into the band as quickplay or the tour, and also still have the same scores up as before.

The only things I don't like is that if you quit or restart you lose fans. I also don't like that you still have to buy song, whereas on other systems (so I'm told, you gain points to get new songs in the store) But then again like I said, I haven't explored much into the game to really understand. But I recommend this game, buy it.
