The idea of this game sparked my interest greatly but as soon as you get going you realize how much this game is lacking. The start out with three characters and two main weapons types and it sounds like thats about it for the rest of the game (boo). Just seems like a game geared toward female or a young japanese demographic. Not impressive. The rpg gunplay is something that could be awesome but that gets old too due to lack of weaponry and item usage, and hero mode is just a glorified attack button, laaaaammmeeee. The whole map is set up so you can only explore as you lay down "hexes", which brings me to my next point, what the heck is up with Japan and the obsession with Hexegons? FFX and RoF and many others have this obsession with hexegons, they're everywhere! weird.... Anyway, unless you're 15, female, japanese, and this is the only game your parents bought you I wouldn't waste my time.
This game was one i was looking forward to for a long time. i played for a few hours and packed it up and shipped it back. The battle system is so complex you spen the frist 2 hours just trying to grasp it, thought i did, then realized nothing works the way it should. Characters are so ridiculous you dont want to watch the cutscenes, the one place where this game shines, great graphics....wasted. Pass on this one.
