Good but you can tell its a launch title

Resistance: Fall of Man on the surface is a generic FPS game, and the game plays like it. The use of the Sixaxis in the controller is slightly interesting but really doesn't come up in the campaign. Like countless COD and other FPS titles the campaign follows a very well defined, linear style, but it does have a few interesting (if small) areas to explore. There were a few times where I realized I was exploring a building or room that I didn't really need to or was afraid of an enemy around the corner that never came, that's when I knew I was being pulled in.
The storyline is a little predicatable but it at least has a half-way interesting one that isn't just pulled from history (in this case its Alternate History) and the story was the main reason I finished the game and gave it as high of a score as I did (based on gameplay, graphics, etc. I would rate it around 6) I would probably do 7.5 if that was available.
