I really, really tried to like this game, and give it a fair shot. Unfortunately the game was working against me at nearly every turn.

The controls/camera shifts are just... awful. You will die multiple times from running in to an enemy when you don't mean to. You will waste ammo. You will miss timed objectives over and over because you can't turn a corner easily.

I don't have a lot of time to play, and the VERY limited inventory and save system are equally frustrating. I finally stopped about 2/3s of the way into the game and said "I am not enjoying this. I haven't even been scared once."

The story and setting are cool though. If they remade it with RE4's perspective, it would be a must have. But I can't recommend a game that actively works against players.

i liked this one. mainly because it makes you think with your brain and not just with your thumbs and fingers. The game isnt very scary, unless creepy mansion freak you out... but aside from the sprinting zombies you THINK are dead, it's not all that scary. if you like brain-teasers, zombies. and exploring mansions, i know you'll love this game.

Let's get this out of the way, yes it is a reproduction of an older game. I personally hadn't played this game in years so it was great to enjoy it again. A few things, 1. Many complained of too much darkness as far as their screens are concerned. I never had that problem. 2. Yes, if you are not familiar with the controls and camera angles it will take a few minutes to get used to, but it's really not that hard. The people who made the game said themselves that when they made the game they kept the controls and set camera angles to add to the horror/survivalist feel to the game. 3. Many complained that it's hard to do with the wii remotes, but I also have the classic controller and used that as I never thought about using the wii remotes for this game.

Now that all that is out of the way, If you haven't played in some time or are new to the series, this is a great play. Perhaps for casual gamers or gamers who prefer faster paced or more action games it may not be what you are looking for. It's eerie and strategic, has that B-Horror movie feel, and in my opinion all that makes it entertaining. Turn the lights off, the sound up, and don't get bitten!!
