As others have said, this is no longer survival horror, but plays out more like zombie gears of war on steroids, I was slightly disappointed in this at first. Then I got further into the campaign, the story lacks a lot of initial background information that the game makes you work for, its very rewarding. Playing all the campaigns is an absolute must to get the entire story. Not only can you play six characters and get rewards for each, cut scenes ect. but the skill set system is amazing. I'm unsure of praising or hating the devs on the ammo system, a lot of the time I feel starved for ammo, yet incorporating melee is a lot of fun. There is nothing more rewarding than clearing a hallway full of specialized zombies with only your melee!!! It takes about 10-15 hours for your first time clearing one of the campaigns, after you get the hang of everything it goes a lot smoother/faster. The multi-player is awesome, agent hunt, unlimited ammo, friendly fire, all kinds of various changes to make replays crazy fun. You're going to have to play the game through more than once!!! As far as the story goes...I see a lot of lackluster information.... like where is the Chinese army at all? We're just rampaging through their country? How is all of this funded? where do they get the bodies for the zombies? they just keep coming!?!? Where are the airstrikes and why are two people doing a brigade's job? Besides these issues, I would say a must play, there's a lot of different ways to keep you engaged, fun weapons too. Def a buy if you love the series. Add a chainsaw to the melee please.
