I decided to give this game a chance and ignore the advice given by others. I made the mistake of playing Jake's campaign first. It nearly killed the entire game for me as I had virtually no interest in either Jake or Sherry. The saving grace of this game was Leon's and, to a degree, Chris' storyline. I was ready to give it up prior to playing through their respective campaigns. Visually, the game looks great and it plays well enough. The actually story was decent and the monster designs were mediocre at best. I'd say it was a lackluter entry in the franchise saved by Leon's chapters.
