Resident Evil 6 for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

For those that are fans of the original resident evil games you will be disappointed in Resident Evil 6. The closest thing to survival horror in this game is the story of Jake and Sherry in which you are literally being hunted by one bad B.O.W. The game plays very fast and feels like a run and gun shooter. The story line is fairly good and is interesting the way that it intersects with each other. My only real issue is how fanciful the game is. You fight enemies that are the size of buildings. The game is based off of a virus that mutates the genetic code yet you fight a gigantic fly like creature at some point. The combat system is is a lot of fun to play and I found myself not even needed ammo because of how fun the hand to hand was. Not the best game I've played but certainly worth killing some free time.

The gameplay is very good and what they did with the skill points is pretty cool. I have a lot of fun playing this game until it comes to the quicktime events. there are too many quicktime events,and the quicktime eventa are more frustrating then fun. it just gets in the way of gameplay.The quicktime events annoyed me so bad I dont even want to finnish the game,and I ussaully always want to replay a game on its hardest difficulty after I beat it on normal. Take away all the annoying quicktime events and I would have givin this an 8 or 9.
