There are not a lot of controls, and it leaves minimal room for exploration. The controls are a bit hard to work with, but the creative settings and storyline top these issues. I would say that my biggest problem with this gamer it that there is no way to quick select weapons. You have to go in to your inventory everytime (I switch weapons probably a dozen times per battle) overall though, a good game to play and to watch. 22hrs to beat.
Resident Evil 4 came out when I was still in high school and I was SO excited when it did. I've always wanted to play it due to my love of Zombies and undead stuff. I was so disappointed to FINALLY have the chance to play and discover that... it was horrible. I should have read some of the lower rating reviews before I rented. The gameplay is really REALLY slow. Leon (the main character) can't move any faster than a slow walk at best. Turning around is nearly impossible. There's no way to shoot and move at the same time while hordes of these people come at you with pitchforks and other farming equipment.
I was really disappointed after waiting all of that time and only being able to play about 30 minutes of it before simply giving up. I would not recommend this RE, maybe later on in the series is better.
