Remington Super Slam Hunting Africa is a fast-paced arcade style shooting gallery game. It was released around the same time as Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011. The games play very similarly in style. The only difference is this one doesn't mess around with a useless story mode and lets you drop right into the action. There are 35 levels and a lot of different guns, scopes, and other upgrades. Each level the goal is to score the most points possible while strategically choosing your targets, slowing down time, and stringing together chain bonuses. All the while avoiding shooting the female animals. A lot of different predators are also thrown in the mix that add some danger to each level. There are crocodiles, hippos, lions, and leopards, among others. Unlike Dangerous Hunts one of the cool things is you see your weapon on screen. You see the shell casings fly out as you blast away in slow motion with your shotgun. In Dangerous Hunts all you have is a rifle and a shotgun. This game has a ton of weapons with their own stats that give replay value to the older levels to use better guns and upgrades as you unlock them. There is also co-op and competitive co-op through the whole game so it is fun to play with friends. If you want a budget no-holds-barred hunting rail shooter this is probably the game to get.
