The first game was decent, but was glitchy and hard to play because of it. This game is well polished and designed. It is fairly easy to play and not hard to beat, but is a lot of fun on the way. If you like fps games, I highly recommend giving this one a shot (as long as you have wii motion plus, otherwise don't bother because you have to have it to play lol)
