Red Faction: Guerrilla for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

This game I feel has a great base but failed to really come to fruition for me. The side missions were enjoyable but got to be quite repetitive and didn't really add to the story. The most interesting part of the story to me was finding the lost key cards that gave you a recording from someone who had died on the planet previously and it gives you some detail into the world before the game. This to me had so much potential but when finding them takes a lot of time and searching in areas with nothing else to do it gets hard to keep your interest. The graphics are above average and the control is accurate and responsive. I would have also liked to have seen more weapons or upgrades for the ones that existed. I never played the original so this game is my only exposure. It is enough to interest me in the next game in the hopes that they improve on the areas where they fell short. I definitely recommend to anyone that likes action games where most of the play is action and missions with sporadic story elements but not too involved. Great game to play in spurts.
