Rockstar brings yet another amazing free roam game, along with fun rag-doll physics, plenty of guns, and tons of gameplay but now in the setting of the Wild West. You play as John Marston, a former gang member, who is out to kill Bill Williamson, an evil co-gang member, who is bringing evil and destruction to New Austin and Norther Mexico.
GAMEPLAY 10/10 - This game is beautifully set up; the controls, the aiming, red dead meter, health, the horseback riding, everything. So many missions and so much area to roam around all with ease of the fast travel by setting up bonfires, or paying for stagecoaches. You are constantly able to enter missions, even when riding around doing nothing because of all the random strangers asking for help around the environment. The game feels and plays a-lot like GTA since it's made by Rockstar. The game is a little gory which makes it feel brutal like it had of been in the Wild West times. The ragdoll physics make the gunfights even more fun, and is very entertaining to kill enemies on cliffs.
STORY 9/10 - The story is interesting and there is a-lot of different parts of the story that is happening since you will help several people with their problems, which eventually tie into the story as well. Sometimes it can get a little boring in some missions since you ride along someone for 5 minutes just to find out that you have to kill a few enemies and the mission is done, and sometimes the missions can be a little repetitive, but overall the story is fun and original.
GRAPHICS 9/10 - The graphics to this game are pretty nice and the rendering of the environments flow pretty well. There are tons of nice views when riding your horse alongside a steep cliff, and out past are tons of trees, rivers, and small towns, and the sun on the horizon.
SOUND 10/10 - I love the sound of the gunfire, and the sound of all the guns, hearing gunshots in the distance is very cool as well.
Overall, this game is great and is definitely worth a buy!
