This is a Japenese RPG game that is not English dubbed but is translated in English with Japenese voices. It takes a good 20+ hours or more to really understand this game If you are looking for a RPG to play. give it a try. The game has some flaws but there is a lot of fun to be had here.

Pros:
-Story that shows a LOT of characters and their personalities develop.

-Lots of customization for your characters and improves more as you progress in the story.

-VERY long game. Easily 100+ hours on a single playthrough.

Cons:

-Tough game to learn at first because of poor tutorial.
-Too much fan service...Some people like or dislike it.

This game its pretty good but you will spend more time reading subtitles because its not on English and watching cut scenes yup just like mgs 4 almost all cut scenes are characters moving their mouth n eyes n that's all the battle system is pretty good if your a rpg fan u should check this one out just don't expect any wow moments in here.

This game starts out with a lot of promise. Then all of a sudden you start the actual gameplay and it goes straight down hill. This game is not even worth your time.

I REALLY wanted to like this game since it looked promising (Like a blend of FFVII & Star Ocean IV) however it is SO SLOW in the beginning and the cut scenes are really only a disruption to the flow of the game. Having to read subtitles is one thing but the simple picture of a character with a slightly moving mouth just doesn't do it for me.

I could handle that if they kept them short and sparse, however you are constantly interrupted by them and I just wound up skipping them entirely and just not really knowing what is going on in the storyline. If you have several hundred hours to spend and the patience of G-a-n-d-h-i [What the !#$% GameFly's language filter won't let me use his name!!!] then you may be able to get through this game...

Graphics are nice in conversations, the rest I've seen in PS1 and PS2 games. However watching one girl's boobs try to slap her in the face every time she nodded was more ridiculous than sexy.

The completely new battle system feels exceptionally random, while the game actively refuses you the tools required to learn the new mechanics without being butchered at the drop of a hat. Unless you pay for the weapon packs they have available.

The English translations are FAR inferior to the game's two predecessors. This holds especially true when the game is trying to explain it's new skill system... The explanation was butchered so badly I was wishing it had a Japanese voice-over so I could get a friend to translate it PROPERLY.

I count myself as a fairly critical person, but try not to be overly negative... In this case, however, I found very little to enjoy. If they wanted to make a dating sim, why bother with the whole epic RPG backdrop??

I am a huge RPG player and fan. But this one is very....very different. The turned based fighting is cool but thats about the only good part bout this game. Its in japanese with english subtitles and its pretty much ps2 graphics and no cinimatics. Very dissapointed with this game. I say its a 3/10

I'm not even sure where to begin. The game itself takes forever to load and it frequently loads while you play. This is odd since the graphics are something from PS1. The character models are jagged and poorly done. The overhead map looks like something a child scribbled with a crayon. There is no detail whatsoever and no reason to even try to explore since there is very little to find. The game has NO English VO the whole thing is Japanese, although you can put English subs. AW2 relies mainly on equipment development rather than character. You need to upgrade you're equipment as much as possible or you won't stand a chance even against weaker enemies. Character leveling is painfully slow and nearly pointless. The XP required gets ridiculous after a while and the stat increases are all but useless. The battle system is horrible. Most of the time your attacks will miss depending on where the enemy is on the grid. And even if you hit the damage is so far reduced it's a joke. This is even with buffed characters and equipment. Nothing is more irritating the seeing "MISS" with every attack you try. Also, many monsters including weaker ones can do a "One Kill" attack of some sort, meaning the damage is so massive you probably won't survive it. Monsters will often focus attacks on a single character often killing them before it's your turn to go. Monsters often will surprise attack you (something you can't do) and when this happens you're pretty much dead so enjoy watching your party get picked off. AW2 had no exploration value, most of the towns and such are for visual only you can't go in them unless it's part of an event, again making exploring pointless.

THE GOOD
Uh..no

THE BAD
Poor graphics.
Excessive dialog.
No English VO

THE UGLY
Relies solely on equipment leveling.
Poor battle system.
No exploration value.
Awful character development.

the game looks good and has eye candy, the story is intiesing and powerful from the get go, but the combat is over-machinalised to the point of crippling. and the tutoiral keeps it all clear as mud because you just have to learn and master it all at once. and you have to fight ever little random monster just to advance, even if you escape from random battles you still can't go forward. you have to kill every little thing just to get to the next town at any desant rate. no advancing means no further play.
