Though not as good as the original game, this one incorporates the balance board in several of the mini-games adding a little additional challege. Great use of popular songs. 'Pimp my Rabbid' is a bit difficult to figure out at first, but once you get the general concept, it's inexplicably additcting. This is just a freakin' fun game to play solo or with several others.
Pure and simple this game is fun! The description of this game is spot on and straight forward. It has a nice blend of humor and simplicity that allows you to focus on family interaction, competition and... once again FUN! There are a few concerns that may have you rent instead of own, although I own this game for its replay and fits all occasions of game play; alone, with family or with friends. First the navigation is a bit off due to the cluttering of too much "stuff" on the menu screens. Second the graphics are very low quality and vary drastically from mini game to mini game. Third, some of the mini games are confusing on what to do or how to get maximum points. Although it is somewhat a guessing game on what exactly you need to do to get points it never gets frustrating. Lastly, the games controls are too confusing for kids under the age of 5 or 6. My son is 4 and we let him play 30 minutes a day and he does not like this game. His motor skills are not developed enough. For an adult the controls are simple, yet at age 4, pointing the controller at the screen can be a difficult task. Even with these minor flaws the fact that the game play is solid, fun and interactive makes this a very good game. My only complaint would be to clean up the graphics yet it's a Wii. Hope this helps!
This game is fairly entertaining. The whole game is made up of mini games that don't last more than 5 minutes or so each. If that weren't short enough for people with short attention spans, some games have "Advert" breaks with fairly humorous mocking commercials. The mini-games are divided by channel (8 channels in all I think). Many of the games in a given channel are twists on the same theme (i.e. The sports channel contains 2 or more games where you sit on the board and ride a cow down a mountin like snowboarding: Mount Beehind and Mount Cushytush. They're 2 diferent courses but the same type of thing.)
I played this at a party with 4 players from 25-28. The variety kept us all interested, and helped level the playing field. We played a couple of rounds of 20 minutes or so. Some of the games let all 4 players play at once, but many make you take turns with or without the balance board.
The single player option just lets you play through timeslots for a week or so with 8 games a day. It didn't keep my interest for more than a week. I sent it back the day after the party.
Overall, its a fairly amusing game and especially good if you can't keep focused on a single goal for more than 5 minutes. I'm glad I didn't buy this game. Its a good rental though.
