This is a good port from the versions on PC/consoles/etc. It lags a bit at the end of the level though. If you like to collect everything in the game, it will take you about 10-12 hours. You will die a lot, but you have infinite lives. Worth a rent.

It's amazing!!! It's pretty much exactly the same as the console version, but, it's...um...on...the...3DS, I guess. Well, here goes: It's a great game, better than most platformers now, it feels like you're playing a cartoon, almost. This game is a really weird game, but it's amazing, it looks great, has great controls, is extremely fun (Even though it's only 1 player...), the music is great (One reviewer said it was awful, he has bad taste.), it never gets boring (That reviewer said it got boring, too. I have no idea what he's talking about.), and it has fun multiplay-oh, wait, this is on the 3DS, it doesn't have multiplayer on this version. (Sigh...) Rayman Origins is truly a great game, but it has only one flaw: no multiplayer on the handheld versions, and only the handheld versions! That was a stupid decision on Ubisoft's part. But still, it's a great game, and DEFINITELY deserves a rent, and, maybe, a buy.
Ok let me start with the good. The graphics are amazing they push the 3DS to its limits. The 3D is well done, and the game is beautiful. the controls are smooth and responsive. Now lets talk about the negative. I just could not get into this game. I played a few levels and found it boring. His attacks progressively get better but they are boring in the beginning. The power ups are not amazing, and worst the music is awful. I hate the music. Not a rayman fan. Maybe the Wii one will be better.
