Incredible game--Haven't had this much fun in

Best game I've played in a long while. Couldn't stop playing, and always had a smile on my face. Even after dying 30 times in a row on some levels I was never frustrated because I knew it was my fault and not an issue with the controls. I had just played Skyward Sword prior, and in this respect the games are day and night. Anyway, play it. You'll love it.

Great 4 nostalgia & parties, but alone...

While I loved playing this game, with the storyline flowing smoothly, I felt disappointed in the fact that when I beat the game...that's it! It is a great game to play with other people at a party or if you have kids or siblings. The animations were amazing, especially since they were all hand drawn. The goofyness and uniqueness of rayman just continues in this videogame and is a magnificent nostalgia rememberance . But in my opinion, when I buy a game, I would like to play it constantly, even after I beat it.
animations, story, optional quest, moderation of power ups, puzzles
quick game to beat, not much of a "repeat" game, no difficulty level

Rise of a Real Challenging Platformer

This game is the perfect start for the return for hardcore platforming. Having spent so many years playing Mario games, they have really become repetitive after so long. Sure some are challenging, but it was in the end quite simple if done right.

In Rayman though, it proved to be completely new to me, having a creative locations with artistic look, well made song track fitting for each level and even interactive to the game play, unique abilities, and challenging levels that test your skills and the new tricks you learn.

It proved to be a great game to me since despite the many deaths I had it drove me to keep playing to just win in the end. However, the only disappointment was the final level boss, but it hints of a possible squeal to many Rayman fans who have a sharp eye on things. What made up for this though was the secret level, which by far is a platformers worst nightmare, pushing the limits on timing, speed, memory, and reaction. Beating it just gives an overall feeling of achievement and even has you trying again just to beat it faster.

I think its a worthy rent for the single player fun and a buy if you have the friends to play it with for the add difficultly and enjoyment.
