First up this was a 3DS launch title and yes it may be a port but to me its the second-best launch title for the 3DS. I had never experienced Rayman 2 before this and now I know why its held in such high regards this is one of the best 3D platformers of all time. This game, this fantastic, game though does have its problems many of which are just personal the graphics may not be up to par with Ocarina of Time 3D, Super Mario 3D Land. or Resident Evil: The Mercinaries but its not bad either personally I don't care about graphics. Another problem is sound quality don't get me wrong the music sounds amazing but its not loud enough or clear enough for my tastes, but a solution to this is earbuds. The gamplay is why your going to play a platformer and Rayman does some of the best you will ever see its fun and inventive yet not strafing to far from normal plaforming standards. You may be still wondering why a port deserves such a high score...because its a good port if your looking to get your platforming fill out of the 3DS I highlly recommend Super Mario 3D Land, Sonic Generations, and Rayman 3D. Rayman 3D is a port if your looking for the best experience I recommend finding the N64 or Dreamcast version but this is also avalible on PS1, PS2, and DS.
