Ratchet: Deadlocked for PlayStation 2 Reviews by Gamers

Ratchet Deadlocked. The 4th in the Ratchet & Clank series. It has gone from a platformer to an arena fighter shoot-em-up. Ratchet Deadlocked's a good game but I remember Insomniac & Naughty Dog saying Up your Arsenal and Jak 3 were the last in the series, but they both made a 4th game. If you ask me, it's getting repetitive. This game was fun, but veterans of the series will beat easy mode in less than a day. Even the hardest mode on the majority of missions is pretty easy to veterans. The story's kinda stale too compared to the others. The weapons are great though. You can upgrade them to level 99 for goodness sakes! The battle bots help a lot too; plus they're pretty funny, one sounds oddly like Mr. T though. I was disappointed with the fact that Clank was almost out of the entire game. Clank was cool. The unlockables were tons-o-fun. I think it was a really good game, bit it could have been better than it was though. Oh! The first first person and lock-strafe modes were cool.
