a few years ago i came across a little known game named Ratchet & Clank. little did i know that i would become a huge fan and addicted to it's gameplay. 2 games later and here i am completing Up Your Arsenal. This series has everything you want from a platformer - non stop action, massive weapons, great story, comedy, variety and replay value. if you haven't played any of the games from the series, i suggest you do!!

This game...is the BEST in it's SERIES!!!! Awesome game play and funny storyline and the best weapons that you can put up your arsenal!! My favorite weapon in the game is the auto-turrets and the best feature in the game is that you can upgrade your weapons I mean HECK YEAH!!! And awesome graphics good voice acting and well good everything!! I highly recommend that you buy this game!!!

Ratchet up your arsenal is one of the greatest ever. I've played every signal game in the series including the 4th one, and this one is the best. The weapons are great and it is easy to get hooked. I would have to say there is nothing wrong with this game and its really fun.

Oh My Gosh!!!!!!!!!!!! This was one of the best games ever made. It has some of the best graphics. Plus a great storyboard! It's interesting. I love the detail's of the weapons and armor. But my fav. weapon would have to be the mini turret gun:). Also they go into detail with all the levels. Last I LOVE CLANK!!!!!!!!!!! I love when you get to control the minibot guys.

This game is so good with one major thing that brought it down to a 9,it was was very repetitive!First it's so good for this reason too it is s long. you will be playing for hour after hour n your PS2. yu have a diverse array of wepons, why do you think it's called "Up Your Arsenal"! So that is o yeah don't by tings you don't need. HA HA... SERIOSLY DON'T!

I have played all four Ratchet games and this one is by far the best. Up Your Arsenal is one of the top five best games of all time. The game is pretty long upgrading the guns is cool and the challenge mode is cool. I don't have one bad thing to say about this game. AwEsOmE!

I'll admit I was expecting a lot more from this game. I was in love with Ratchet and Clank 1 and 2 that's why I got on my computer as fast as I could when I saw it was on here. But I'm really dissapointed at it. It's too hard and the story line don't make very much sense and there's even more of Captain Quark's scheming which I was starting to get tired of at the end of Ratchet and Clank 2. I don't really like the weapons or the ship that you fly around in cause in Ratchet and Clank 2 you got a completely stock ship and you got to upgrade it the way you wanted to and that was fun but in this one it's mostly all upgraded. And there were minimal after market upgrades you could put on the ship and those even sucked. I would go ahead and tell you to rent it but if you loved 1 and 2 then this game's going to be a real let down for you. I just think that when the designers of the game got ontop and the series was the game of the year they got cocky andslacked off on it so go for it and rent it.

Title says it all. There really wasn't much keeping me interested in wanting to play this game once getting home. It just seemed to be the same task repeated over and over again with few changes each time. The environment is impressive at times, but nothing to write home about at the end of the day.

This a great game for anybody because the story line is great and fun to play. you will get hooked easly. All though, the multiplayer version is a little weak, you dont have full half a screen like many other games. But is challenging,but is very creative.

Never had problems playing PS2 games on my PS3 till this one. Very-very slow, terrible graphics. It was just imposible to play.
This is my only complaint. Have nothing to say about the game itself since didn't get a chance to try it. Sad, I am a fan of Ratchet & Clank. My post is to warn PS3 owners.

The game is almost dead on solid. From gameplay, to off-beat humor, to graphics, and the weapon selection. The story though lacks in places, which is sad for such a good series. And the 2-D Quark adventures are just frustrating, and at times, will make you curse the devolopers. So do the Hacker puzzles. They just seem, like the 2-D vid-Comics, tacked on. But what frustrated me the most, and will never let me vote this otherwise good game the 10 it deserves, are the rhythm tyra-guise portions. There's just no point to them really.

And somehow, someway, they even made playing as Clank dull.

Otherwise though, a solid game.

I really enjoyed this game. I have always been a fan of the Ratchet and Clank series. The graphics look great with nice enviroments. The controls flow really well. There is a very nice selection of weapons to choose from. I liked the diffent skins to buy and even the ability to customize your ship was cool. The story was entertaining and humerous as always. Just playing it though once without unlocking all the skills took me twenty some odd hours. There is good replay value in this game. The muliplayer was very fun always. Overall a very fun game.

this one is probably the best of the RaC series. yes the campaign is KINDA short but whats even better is the guns and the best part...MULITPLAYER. just so fun to kill stuff in this game

It is very difficult, but not to difficult. Here is a basic overview.

Story: Epic, a great story!
Difficulty: Not for beginners!
Weapons: AMAZING!
Levels: As always very unique environments but they increase in difficulty.
Characters: Ratchet is laming up on us in the beginning, but that's what maintains his humor! Also much older characters you thought would never reappear!
Graphics: Quite the same, but somehow different.
Enemies: Not bad, but old style.
New: New special levels! New upgrades for Clank! A better and cheaper armor vendor! New challenge mode! A home base ship! Playing mini games! But best of all, a totally awesome, amazingly epic, huge, WEAPONS TESTER ROOM! That's right! You can test before you buy! (But not upgrade) So much NEW!
Other: The return of the B2-Brawler! (But in a deadly scorpion tank form with fire and blades)
Overall: A must buy for Ratchet and clank fans searching for a difficult game!

Description: The all powerful (Or so he thinks) Dr. Nefarious has a new secret weapon that will enslave the galaxy! And the galaxies only hope is... CAPTAIN QUARK! But he's, well...changed. So ratchet must restore him to his former glory! (I mean lameness) So he (Notice I didn't say Captain Quark) can stop the nefarious scheme of Dr. well..er...Nefarious!

Ratchet and Clank: Up your arsenal was great. The weapons you have are really cool. The only thing that brought my rating down to a 9 is because they could've made the graphics just a TINY bit better.

Like the title says, awesome! It isn't too hard and it definitely isn't too easy. The many missions, weapons, and battles that this game has will definitely keep you on your toes and thoroughly entertained. Also, the humor in it is surprisingly good. I recommend it 100%.

this series had a lot of replay value.. look just as great.. even after 2-4 years! or more.. but its recent title on the PS3 is really a charm! but this game is as as good but at PS2 graphic level :)

i couldnt even keep my eys off this game. but why couldnt rachet just listen to the president and not goggle on the presidents duaghter! rachet sasha is way out of your limits! this game was perfect besides for the romance i mean its suposed to be guns and booms not a women !rachet please take a breathmint! !and sasha your spandex makes your butcrack show! !and clank im starting to think you like scrunch the monkey and other men! but this game makes me think that this summers gonna be awesome!

Most games today just never give you the same thrill as the 2002-2005 games on the PS2. Ratchet and Clank: Up your Arsenal is a perfect example and role model of what true gaming really looks and sounds like. Unlike the original Ratchet and Clank, Ratchet now has a much more "mature" voice. That was one of the biggest flaws in the original. Ratchet has a whole new stash of extremely powerful weapons, making the graphics much more enjoyable for a PS2 game. The gameplay was off the charts in the ratings, and the duration as well. You can see that they really put some time and effort into making this game. The only thing wrong with it is that once you play it once or twice, the challenge of the game just fades away, but the graphics never get old.
