Insomniac is two for two

This game shows just how talented Insomniac really is. Their first game (Resistance) was a kind of horror FPS with a story that made it impossible to put down the controller. Their second game, Ratchet and Clank, is a colorful 3rd person game that has everything you need in a good video game. It has laughs, amazing graphics, crazy weapons, and addicting gameplay. It is quite possible that Insomniac has released the two best games for PS3 so far.
Ratchet and Clank is amazing. The game is very fun and gives you many different options in game. Even though it is not a game like GTA or MoH: Airborne that lets you do whatever you want, it still isn't a completely linear game. The game gives you freedom to do what you want to do before the level is over, which is a great way to keep gameplay fresh and different. The graphics are amazing, which is interesting considering that this game is pretty goofy and out there. The weapons are so fun to use. There is a tornado launcher (self-explanatory), plasma beasts (plasma monsters which beat up your enemies), grenades, leech bombs, a gelatinator (fires out goo cubes which you can jump on), and other hilarious items. The best is the groovitron, which is a grenade that turns into a disco ball and forces your enemies to dance. Nothing is funnier than watching a giant flying snake disco dance around like an idiot.
I got this game for my birthday, which is a good thing, because I wasn't planning on buying it. What a dumb decision that would have been. Don't make the mistake of not getting this game. This is a must have.
