It's cool, but really nothing new.

Essentially it's a highly polished Boarderlands with no leveling system or character creation. There are jobs to do and although you don't gain levels, you do get money to buy ammo and upgrades which is all you need. There are only a handful of guns --which I figure is why you can't pick them up of the ground-- but they take a hint from fallout and give you some ammo options, which is always cool.
The graphics are reminiscent of Boarderlands and they load very slowly. However once the graphics do load they are pristine!
The A.I. is some of the best I have seen. The enemies can climb, jump down from the ceiling, avoid your fire while charging at you, take cover, blind fire, and dive and roll. Although, the player's character is stuck with strafing out from behind a wall Duke Nukem style. This is a new game; can I do some cool, tactical, movements as well as the enemies in this shooter please?
And there are invisible walls everywhere. If you like jumping onto buildings to snipe, sorry bud, not in this game. It also makes travel slow since the 'straight line' approach doesn't work. Not that there are to many places to travel on foot where that would be effective. I just find invisible walls to be frustrating and it takes me out of the game when I run into 'nothing.'
It is fun, very much so, it makes me really want Boarderlands 2 to come out. And it gives me the yearning for another New Vegas style game with the Easter eggs and the similarity of the two. If you like shooters and Bethesda I would bet that you would like this game. If you're old enough to have played the original duke and quake this game is a must play.
