Race Pro by SimBin/Atari is a basic simulation racing game. It features a few modes such as Championship, Time Trial, and Online mode. Online mode is very laggy the majority of the time and can result in many wrecks. The graphics are below average for a next gen video game. They focused on the driving physics and tuning options. The driving is OK, with or without a wheel. I would not recommend buying this. No depth to it at all. Rent and then if you like the hardcore just staright up racing, then buy it.

Bad

Why you don't own an Atari

Atari, the one time leader in home consoles, has moved to only developing software. Maybe they should stop doing that too. This game is bad, last gen graphics and game play with nothing new to bring to the table. There is no sense of speed, or action. The career mode is a boring series of races in which a car is chosen for you, and the championship series seems to be a tedious affair. Do yourself a favor and buy a used copy of Forza2, you will be much happier. Oh and if you think racing sims can get a little boring, try racing with no soundtrack, ZZzzzz! This game stinks, don't play it unless you are a die-hard racing fan ( I thought that I was until I played this)

I've played the first few races and this game is a huge disappointment. You're only able to drive one car per circuit, which seriously diminishes the fun factor of choosing your own ride for that race, let alone upgrading the car in some way. I thought this might be similar to Forza Motorsports, but I was sadly mistaken. I'll be sending this game back quickly.
