There are many good quake games in our universe, and when Quake III: Revolution came on my door step I was really excited. I ran straight to my PS2, and put it right in the tray. Once it got to the menu it told me to pick a character, this is the most excitement in the game. After you pick from one of the horrible looking characters, you have to pick a map. The maps are even worse then the characters, some only being a few rooms short. But the biggest problem with this game is the controls. Instead of having the R1 button for shooting, they made the X button for the shoot, which is hard when you are in a battle with many people, if they ever shoot you. The only good thing about this game was that you could shut it off, and not be disappointed. If you want to turn your kids off to gaming get this game, if not burn it. I give it a 1 out of 10. If only I could give it a 0 out of 10.
