Quake 4 for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

I'm a shooter fan, so I enjoyed this game. It's hard to beat a dark-matter gun, and a four-round rocket launcher is a nice change from the standard one or two. Never mind the gameplay is repetitive and the vehicle sections are contrived. Quake 4 is not a thinking game, it's a shoot-things-a-lot game. The real difficulty comes in the form of a couple specific rooms where you're locked in and the only way out is killing everything, but you're under-armed and overwhelmed. If you're a fan of the series, though, getting to play the original Quake II has some value.
