This futuristic combat-racing game allows players to compete as one of 10 characters in 9 vehicles over 15 dynamic race tracks. One of the most innovative aspects of this title is that the vehicle's performance is directly tied to the character's health. It's not uncommon for a character to suffer a heart attack if he pushes himself too far. If heart-stopping speed is not enough, players can also obliterate their opponents with a variety of weapons including missiles, mines and plasma beams. There is also the INFINITRAX system which lets gamers customize a practically limitless amount of racing courses. Modes of play are Career Race, Quick Race and Time Trial and up to 4 players can compete in split-screen.
