Would have rather just played Alex Mercer

First off, I don't have many problems with this game, it's just that I don't like anything about the new protagonist. I actually found myself giggling at how calm Alex Mercer was through the entire game, compared to Heller who screams at the top of his lungs far to much. Another strange thing is this: why exactly is Mercer suddenly the bad guy? I mean seriously if James wasn't such a jack A he would realize Collette(his wife) wouldn't want him to do this. By the final boss fight I was marveling at how powerful Mercer was (if you didn't see it coming, something is deeply wrong with you) compared to James, and how he was just as bloody funny to listen to as he was in Prototype. I just feel they could have had a much better game if we played as a different evolved or even just Alex Mercer himself would have been swell.
The game itself fixes all the problems the first one had, at the price of being repetitive and have much less variety in combat.
