Very Good

Soccer is always best on the Wii and FIFA 08 set the bar so high that PES 08 could not match it.
(Fifa 09 AVOID!!!). This year the menu is more streamlined and the gameplay options are more then Fifa; the penalties are better and the replay is smoother; however the presentation is still lacking the commentary is ok and the shooting is similar to Fifa but with the nunchuck instead. The worst part is the running; it gets difficult to run sometimes and it is hard to see. I was going to give it a 7 but it improved so much I was generous and gave it an 8. Still Rent it but BUY FIFA 08!!!!!

This is my history about PES 2009. I am one of the one that probably rate the game the worst. Online playability poor even gameplay is not in par with PES PS2 version. Online is a jerk compare to FIFA series.

I just bought the WII version today as I heard some good unnofficial review about the wii version.

Indeed I love it. It is as good as refreshing as the PS2 and a little bit better because of the new control mechanisms that the WII offers. I did not buy WII version for PES 2008 so I did not know how was it.

Overall I am very happy with the WII version. Probably I am going to forget FIFA 2009 for a while.

The only thing I haven't tried is the online playability. I will update you guys.

I would give 9.2/10 for overall experience with the WII version. In contrast to the PS3 version which I only rate 5/10. So you can tell how much I would recommend the WII version. The WII version I call it as SOCCER!

the fist day we got it me and my brother played for like 3 hours. we had an awsome time and am glad about the multiplayer feature!
i think it is recommended for people who love soccer

Great Tactics. Lacking Graphics.

If you are a soccer player, this definitely might be a game for you. it lets you really use strategy as part of your game play... making other players make runs into open space, have defenders guard a certain area of the pitch a certain way. better shot placement and ball control than you can do with Fifa '09. But the graphics are very konami-ish, more suited for an arcade.

all-in-all it was a good game, and lets you delve deep into the tactical aspects of this great sport. But for me personally, Fifa '09 is just more my cup of tea.
