If you were a fan of the first game, or even of the second you will love "The Two Thrones". It takes a lot from both games and is the best story wise, In my opinion. A lot of people were not too fond of the second game because of the intense focus on fighting and less puzzle, some did not like the first because it was too much puzzle and not enough fighting. I'm proud to say that it was all much more balanced this time around. You never got sick of either in this game. I thoroughly enjoyed this game from the moment I picked it up, all the way to the end. Story wise, I was very impressed... They made the Prince a much more interesting character, enhancing your drive to see him through to the conclusion of the story, wanting to see where he goes. To me this is where the game really shined. The story was a nice ending to the series and if you ever cared just a little for Prince of Persia, you should give it a shot. Great game... Play it, you will not regret it.

Bottom line: Outstanding game. I have been a big fan of the Prince of Persia series for years but this is an excellent finish to that series. The third installment introduces some new techniques and utilizes some of the best aspects from the previous two and you are rewarded with a rich, thought-provoking, sometimes anger-inducing game. Your anger will not be directed at the controls or gameplay, which are excellent, rather, you will be angry at how many times you have to impale, slash, and hack the same guy to get him to die. Enemies are tough, but the new "Speed Kill" option is a huge bonus. While the exact timing of each Speed Kill is delicate, the reward for accomplishing it flawlessly will make you smile every time. As with any Prince of Persia game, the camera angles can be difficult but if you have played the previous two then you will not have any trouble adjusting to the angles in this one. If you're a new player to the series, don't worry, it's nothing you won't adjust to quickly, but you may have to "Rewind Time" often in the beginning. The storyline is rich and well written. It will keep you very interested in the life and livelihood of the Prince for the whole game. After renting from Gamefly, I went out and bought it right away. This is a great one to rent, own, and then frame above the t.v.
