This is just like the Warrior Within. The fighting controls suck. Not enough fountains so you can get life. I'm surprised there' not one fountain at the start and one at the end of the game. Never got to the end of the game due to not enough fountains. Major suckage.

If you like playing half the game and then getting stuck and not being able to go further cuz of glitches, then rent this game, otherwise do not rent this game. There is no way of passing the jawless giant because of glitches, we have tried millions of times.

I had the first Prince of Persia in the trilogy (Sands of Time). Absolutely loved it. For some strange reason, though, I never got around to playing Warrior Within. Oh well.
So, I decided to go back and play the critically acclaimed end to the trilogy. and am SO happy I did.
It's hard to judge the graphics now, but they're not bad by any standard.
Gameplay is incredibly smooth; the only thing to remember is to keep your cool and be patient. trying to rush through by just tapping everything as fast as possible will just get you killed and very aggravated. the true secret to speed is timing and patience. If you can nail that, this game will be the land of milk and honey for adventure gamers.
The puzzles aren't amazing, but the platforming part is wonderful. As for the actual fights, attention to details is key. You literally have a window of a fraction of a second to get the assassinations right, and how your combos play out depends on exactly how and when you press the buttons.
In essence, if you enjoy good games, and aren't extremely boxed in to one type of game like RPGs, you will love this one.
I give PoP:T2T a 9 out of 10.
