Lately, the Prince has had a lot of success with his first two games in this three part series. Now, with the deadly Dahaka finally gone, the Prince returns to Babylon with Kaileena(you have to play Warrior Within to find out more about her). Everything seems to be going great for our Prince, until.. He finds Babylon going out of control and the nasty Vizier(Sands of Time) returns. The Prince's vessel is ambushed and Kaileena is captured. A few minutes of gameplay later and Kaileena dies and lets loose the Sands of Time, causing the Prince to get his arm infected, spawning the Dark Prince.
Gameplay - 10/10
The Prince has done well in the past two games, and he only improves more in T2T. The Prince has now learned that storming into combat recklessly isn't the best idea. With that in mind, he can now quickly kill his enemies in a quick and silent manner using the Speed Kill system. Note that your enemies cannot notice you while trying to perform these kills. All you have to do is just sneak up to the back of your target and press the secondary attack button(which is also conveniently the Speed Kill button) and strike when your weapon flashes. There's a few extra things the Prince can do, but you can find those out on your own.
Graphics - 9/10
The city of Babylon looks relatively nice for something that's being wrecked. Instead of exploring a dark and mysterious castle or a majestic palace, you have houses on fire, rooftops, sewers, the streets of Babylon, an arena, and much more to go through.
Sound/Music - 2/10
I honestly can't remember a single piece of music from the entire trilogy besides Godsmack's "I Stand Alone". There's only a few times where you actually hear music in T2T, and they're certainly not going to make you pause to listen. You have the same old sound effects that occur when you activate a sand ability or strike an enemy. There's a few more new sound clips, but I don't care.
Replay value - 1/10
After you beat T2T, you unlock the video gallery(which is not that impressive) and all of the artwork gallery. You unlock a code to have a chainsaw as your secondary weapon, but that's all. There's nothing to really inspire you to play again.
Lasting value - 4/10
None of the PoP games have really been worth shelling out more than $20 for. T2T is no exception. T2T is about 9-10 hours long, which is perfect for a rent.
Overall - 9/10
T2T was great, even though it was only 10 hours long. But, those 10 hours were well spent. I was swinging, hopping, and chopping through obstacles and really felt like a decently made action film. The trilogy was another good example of how having good gameplay is more important than having a good cinematic feel(it's a game, not a movie!). I'm a bit disappointed that the trilogy is over, but the Prince deserves his spot at the throne and his rest.
