Best of the trilogy

With a compelling narrative, competent voice acting, and successfully revised gameplay, "Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones" does a commendable job of delivering a rewarding and fun experience while wrapping up the story of the Sands of Time trilogy and bringing all its characters and themes full circle.
While "The Sands of Time" and "Warrior Within" were both decent games, they certainly had their flaws. The game developers seem to have taken certain criticisms to heart in producing "The Two Thrones", however, as this third game is undoubtedly the best of the series. The environments are better constructed, the puzzles aren't as maddening, and combat isn't nearly as annoying (especially since you can stealth kill enemies now). Also, the game's general atmosphere and mood - while sufficiently "mature" - is happily lacking in the excessive rage and demonstrative emo themes that made "Warrior Within" such a heady and joyless affair. No more heavy metal music, no more BDSM chicks, and the Prince is actually a likable character again.
