I was worried after playing Warrior Within that The Two Thrones was going to be even further from the original Sands of Time, but I was wrong. The game is much more like the first in the trilogy in it's storytelling and overall gameplay. First of all, the story makes alot more sense than Warrior Within. The narration style is one of the best story telling methods in video games that I've seen. There are few cutscenes and they are all very important to the plot. The areas you explore are absolutely beautiful, adding to the collection of games that are examples of art. While they spend so much time detailing the dungeons and rooftops you explore, you only visit every area once, making every moment of the game feeling fresh, a feeling that was void in Warrior Within. Fights are fairly spaced out and you never feel to deprived or too overwhelmed with the number of encounters. One of the other things that Two Thrones did that was unique was make puzzles out of the boss fights. It was not as simple as running up to the bosses and swinging your sword at them. Every single boss had a strategy to accompany it. Also, every boss battle is with a character you have seen before, instead of most games where boss battles are fights with random monsters your character is seeing for the first time. Overall, Two Thrones is a great addition to the Prince Of Persia series and a great example of how stories in video games can be as interesting as the gameplay.
