Well, any of us that is a fan of the series would say we expected a little bit more than what we got. First off the fighting was mediocre I would have liked to see more combos and maybe even a throw move but on the positive note there were some challenging parts with timing the freezing of water and jumping. To me the story was to short and the bosses were to easy I mean come on gives us some harder enemies it was just to easy for me and ratash was a cake walk. All in all it was much better than the last one where no matter what you did you couldn't die and I didn't like that as much give me a way to challenge myself not to die, but all in all it was an ok game not anything you would pick up in the store maybe the next one will be better.
Pros: Gameplay is solid, puzzles are fun, and has brought back more of the classic POP feel. The Combat is much improved over the last POP game.
Cons: The game is quite easy, and the story is bleh. Nothing special as far as that goes, which is odd, seeing as that was what was one of the stronger aspects of the game earlier in the series
I am giving this game an 8. While I think that this game is definitely missing in some areas, I think it is a vast improvement over the last game. I am a huge fan of POP games, The Sands Of Time might be my favorite game of all time. This game is a step back in the right direction, bringing back the prince we know and love, and making the game more fun. All in all, I'd say rent it, beat it, maybe not buy it until it gets cheaper. Definitely worth the time, as it isn't too long a game. I enjoyed this game, I wish they had spent more time working on a good storyline that would keep me more interested.
