This was a really fun game to play. Its one of the few games that was better than the original. They brought back everything from the first game back and added plenty more to keep you entertained. Although if you have no idea what Portal2 is, and you read thats its listed as a "shooter" you might be disappointed. This is a puzzle game, with a really fun dialogue and a pretty good story. I know alot of people say they beat it 2,3,4 hours, and although that may be true, it took me a little longer. I didnt time it, but i know I put in atleast 8-12 hrs into single player only. Now i dont use strategy guides, and i dont rush. I explore as much as i can looking for hidden aspects of the game (rat man den). The first half of the game is basically Portal, with a different story and new tests. But after the halfway point, many new aspects are added to the game and this is where it gets interesting. There were 3 or 4 times where i was stuck from anywhere from 10-40 min just walking around trying to figure out how to solve the puzzle, many times only to smack myself in the head because the answer was staring me in the face. The joy and contentment you feel when solving a puzzle that stumped you(without the help of a guide) is probably like going 500/0 k/d in COD. A truly original game. And if you are looking for more Portals, i suggest playing PREY. It was the first game i ever played on 360 many years ago but it alsod uses portals, but it aslo has gun and aliens so thats a big bonues for me. I ranked this game 9/10 only because of the length of the game, but since i have yet to play Co-op that might change to 10/10
Portal 2 was a very great game. Just when you feel like throwing a controller through your TV, you figure out how to solve the level. This game is worth playing just to see the final cut scene. Unfortunately this game has a low replay value. Now that I'm done with this game, I never want to see it again.

Portal 2 is an exceptionally unique game. Having never played the first Portal, I was in for a treat. I rented this game without knowing what I was getting myself into and I was pleasantly surprised. This is a smart game that takes some dedication and patience. You might become frustrated with how difficult some of the puzzles are but I urge you to persevere because beating each level is extremely satisfying. This game is unlike any I have ever played and you need to change the way you think and perceive a 3D environment to really appreciate the game and its complexities. You might also need a decent understanding of basic physics too! My only complaint about the game is my desire for more! I felt that the game ended too quickly - I would have appreciated a few more levels. Online gamers will enjoy a multiplayer coop mode for twice the mind-bending fun! For those looking for an alternative to most games currently on the market, Portal 2 is an excellent, addicting diversion!
