bottom screen not working `

anybody else have this problem, the bottom screen is showing solid blue... cant save or nothing.... is it because it is a rental or is the game just messed up..... now to my review game is great, besides not being able to save, or do anything on the lower screen...... would not recommend this game to anyone if this is whats its like
