Pokemon HeartGold is a very good game for both old Pokefans, and the newcomers. If you are an old fan of Pokemon and have played diamond or pearl, (or platinum) the Pokemon center and mart have a better structure than before. You are in the Johto region and for the newcomers, your three starter Pokemon are Totodile, Chicorita, and Cindaquil. The gameplay has improved a whole lot through the years, and it still does today. The battles are fun too. All and all, this is a must-buy. Or maybe even a keep.
If you want a Pokemon game, this is the real deal!

I am 16, and I still play Pokemon games, and when I seen this was coming out I flipped out. I loved Pokemon Gold and Silver and couldn't wait for it. Some time along the line of me waiting for the game to come out I started to think that maybe this game was a bit over rated. I bought it the day it came out and let me tell you Nintendo did amazing on this game. The music is the first thing that I paid attention to, amazing remakes of the Gold and silver songs. The events are the same, the graphics are good for a DS game. I mean come on what else could you ask for in a Pokemon game? Oh yeah, and your Pokemon follow you. HOW COOL IS THAT? Haha, yeah this is my favorite game in the Pokemon series so far and I can't wait to see how Pokemon Black and White turn out.
