Cute but..

Though this game was extreamly cute, I found the fact that I could only play as Pikachu, even AFTER I beat the game, was horrible. Pikachu is overused in Pokemon games and, hello, there are 500+ other Pokemon that want a turn!
But this isn't a rant, it's a review. So here:
The graphics were cute and the story line, though meant for younger kids, was also good. As a teenager I found it a bit annoying and slow paced and expected a lot more from a highly rated game. This was not the best Pokemon game.
It was also annoying hearing "Pika?" "Bulba- bulbasaur!" every few minutes when I walked by someone or tried to start a minigame. Yeah- TV show voices.
The lack of trainers was great but I wish there was more to this game. I gave it such a low rating because the negative really beat out the positive for me.
