This game has to be one of the most pointless games I have ever plaid. First, I thought wow owuldnt that be cool to have a Pimp My Ride game but turns out that this makes no sense at all. I never saw West Coast Customs once so you just drive around to different shops that bearly give you any opptions for your car. It is extremly unrealistic, you can't hit a car and not stop. Plus the graphics look like a 3 year old made it. MTV should stick to TV.
man, this could've been really cool, xzibit and co. on a quest to make even the ugliest of vehicles into colorful objects d'art, all while driving these vehicles around what looks like southern california, cruising random strips and knocking over parking meters for extra money. unfortunately, conceptual creativity alone does not a good game make. in fact, the initial idea is the only appealing thing about this game. it's mind-numbingly dull and repetitive, it's vague and confusing where it doesn't need to be, the graphics remind me of gamecube driving games like simpsons/mario cart, if not worse...... i could go on. i really tried to force myself to play this and get into it, thinking maybe i was missing the point, and that soon the game would take off and prove rewarding after a slow and meaningless begining. no such luck. the wait for something to happen to make this game fun and dynamic proved to be in vain. in a word, rubbish. oh, and the sound is awful. no fidelity, too quiet, poorly-mixed, no bass, and just barely-there. a game in which car modifications are the main focus, it's ridiculous that the sound is so terrible. do yourself a favor and just stick to the show.
