Send Phineas and Ferb on some other quest

Phineas and Ferb are supposed to be two of the most imaginative kids ever to exist.
But why are they in this third rate Mario game?
Phineas and Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff is an all-too standard 2D platformer where you go through 17 levels in their A.T.T. (All Terrain Transformation Vehicle), make several jumps while collecting sprockets and treasures along the way.
Oh yeah, and you beat up the same two enemies with the same three attacks (spin attack, jump attack and drill attack). This game seriously lacks inspiration.
Your task in these levels? To make the best museum ever with all the stuff you collect. If you’re looking for a thrilling tale like you find in Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension, you’re out of luck.
And these levels almost have no ingenuity in them; I got bored with the game in less than thirty minutes because the gameplay got far too repetitive.
A half baked story shows up when you play as Perry the Platypus battling Dr. Doofismertz, but his levels are just dumbed down versions from the Phineas and Ferb levels – making them almost no fun to play.
And this game can only be played one player. You can only play as either Phineas OR Ferb, not both.
But what’s really bothersome about this game is the presentation. The cartoon show has a lot of wit, humor and great songs in it. But not here; this game just goes through the motions.
Even when the rest of the cast shows up (Isabella, Candice, Buford and Baljeet), the laughs are missing.
I should be surprised that this game can be beaten in about two hours - four to five if you want to find all the hidden goodies – but I’m not. It’s such a money grabbing game that I was hoping that Candice would bust whoever made it. But given her track record, that’s not going to happen.
Only the most loyal fans of the TV show ought to even think of playing Phineas and Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff. It’s that bad. SKIP IT.
