Phantom Crash for Xbox Reviews by Gamers

This is on the list of my favorite xbox games. I still own it today when I decided to sell of my original xbox console and games. I just can't sell it because I find myself going back and playing it from time to time.

I really love the customization and the whole build your mech (robot) how you want. The combat is really fun and challenging, even if it's computer A.I.

I wish they would make a sequal or reboot of this for Xbox 360 or maybe Xbox Classic/Games on Demand because I feel this game with Multiplayer over Xbox Live would be a hit and so much fun.

Definitely worth a rent for anyone still playing original Xbox or anyone looking for a Mech Combat game.

Again one of my favorites and it's still fun to this day.

The Pros:

1. GIANT FRAKKING ROBOTS! Everybody loves blowing stuff up with giant robots. And that's what you get.
2. The level of customization is great. It reminded me a lot of the Gran Turismo series (no, really) in that you have a garage, you can buy parts, and custom tune your robot in a bunch of ways.
3. Fun, fast-paced gameplay with GIANT FRAKKING ROBOTS!

The Cons:
1. Repetitive. Each battle is largely the same. Keep alive until the boss enters the arena, destroy him/her, and then make it to an exit gate.
2. Repetitive. There are only three arenas to fight in. There should've been more.
3. This is a minor one, but you can customzie your soundtrack (again, a la Gran Turismo), but you can only use music on the game disc, you can't use MP3s on your Xbox.
