Phantasy Star Universe for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

If this is the first online rpg you've played then you will have fun. But if you played games like Ultima Online and WOW then you wont enjoy this much. I had high hopes considering I played the PSO for dreamcast but this is just disappointing. Especially if you cant find a party that will be on with you the game gets boring quickly. Gameplay is fun community is ok single player sucks and thats about it. Graphics and sound unworthy of being on an xbox360 but then again this is your first online rpg you will have alot of fun

I was a huge fan of Phantasy Star Online. It was one of my favorite games for years. Sadly though, PSU does not live up to its predecessor. For starters, the game isn't even complete yet. Many of the online components, including entire levels, are missing. Weapons are hard to find and come by, and at a certain level there just aren't items custom to you anymore.
It you really like RPG games where you have to work really hard you'll love this. However, it can't really be compared to anything.
The offline game is kinda cool, if you can get past the corny Japanese voice overs.
The game has a lot of potential, but it will take some time before it will actually be to where it should be.
