More of an interactive storybook with turnbased battles thrown in. I finished it over a weekend so unless you're really bad at turnbased battles there isn't much challenge. The different characters and their spells and ablities were interesting. However there were no limits to how many times you could use them during any single battle. Items were limitted but I just stockpiled them because I usually had a character with a similar or better ablity. This game would have been alot better with a few sidequests and more variety in the enemies, but I'd say it's worth the rental at least.

basically, percy jackson the game was kind of- well the book was better. all you do is touch the place you need to go and battle when you need to. the best part is the battle. i recommednd renting this before buying it. if you like it, do the oblivious and buy it. i didn't.
