Just so everyone knows from the get-go, this is a PG rated movie and designed to entertain kids under the age of 10. However, it fails there because it can entertain anyone at any age.
~-~The Good~-~
- IT ACTUALLY HAS A STORYLINE! Yes, I was very surprised but everything flowed very well and wasn't just a dumb collection of poo jokes.
- Good acting by the always at his best Kevin James and a host of pretty unknown, yet decent, actors.
- Since it was made to be primarily be a comedy, it is actually funny and their are some PG-rated action scenes that look good.
~-~The Bad~-~
- There is not much bad about this movie, since I can't really review this as I would a game. There are some cheesy points in the movie for teens and adults (but since this movie isn't made for us, that's ok)
~-~The Verdict~-~
I personally loved the movie, even though I'm older than the intended age group, and I can honestly say if you put this movie in front of a group of kids they will be howling and entertained for the entire ride. I rented it on an off chance and since I was bored, and I can say I'm not disappointed. I will say you should definitely rent this one, watch it, and send it back on the same day. That's the best part about movies, done in a day. However, you might want to keep Paul Blart: Mall Cop and have yourself or your kids watch it for a while.
