If you love Mario and FFVII...um...duh?

This is an easy review. If you grew up on Mario and love em like I (we all) do and you sometimes find yourself sitting alone for hours leveling up your favorite turn based rpg characters, then you will love this game. Pure and simple. It takes the very best of what makes a solid turned based story driven rpg and molds it perfectly within the ever expanding Mario world. Incorporating different traditional platforming elements within a traditionally boring rpg navigation screen is pure brilliance. Sure theres the endless pressing of the a button to get past the mostly silly banter between characters but thats not what people remember about the great rpg's like FFVII(which had plenty of blah, blah, blah moments itself)but just like FF, it makes the game that much more endearing. Graphics are sharp and colorful and the audio is the usual Nintendo produced excellence. If you own a Mario game and any rpg game, stick this one on your Q.

This game has the most interesting story line and has so many different ways to go. It has stumping puzzles and very good 2-D graphics and will keep you going until the end. I even like that you can keep playing after you win. I also like how it can be enjoyed even after the 5th time plying. So if you are looking fore a Mario adventure that is Fun for the whole family and has action, adventure, battle, and a good story Look no further because Paper Mario: the Thousand-Year Door is the game for you!
