Very Good

Namco does pretty good after 25 years

Ya know what? Namco has done pretty good evolving Pac-Man from a pizza-resembling circle into a round, mean, witty, pac dot-munching, ghost summoning, saving-the-world, fighting machine. it was a bit short, though... i beat this thing in two days. it makes up for that in witty one-liners, controllable gameplay, awesome power ups, and i've probably missed a few. i still can't get that one out of my head where Pac-Man says," I'm sorry,Pac-Man can't talk to the would-be evil megalomaniac right now. please leave a message after the beep. Beep." Oops, spoilers. anyway, this is a good game. stay tuned for my review on Pac-man World 2.

After playing the recent pacman games, I have never EVER get to hear his real voice ontill now.

PMW3 is a mite different from the first or second versions... While many of the gameplay features you grew to love are there, they've been changed around quite a bit.

If you wanted the 3D version of Pac Man, look back to the other two versions as this takes it one step beyond into more of an interactive game than a 3D side scroller. PMW 1 & 2 took you through straight paths with many twists, but that's about it. PMW3 has plot twists, multiple direction mazes and Baddies never seen before. If you're into this, these are for you. If you wanted a new version of what was before - don't expect to find it here!

Overall the gameplay is smooth, there's voices and cutscenes galore now and it's a great game that will suck you in. But it's certainly different than previous versions and can kinda wear on you after awhile!
