A twisted fantasy world where you play the polar opposite of King Author; whats not to like? Destroy; wreck; maim; enslave… I mean come on, its like a walk in the beach with one heck of a bloody-marry in your clutches.
Story: You play as an evil knight who got a huge break when a band of evil minions miss took you as their reincarnated master, sound good yet? You travel through a fairy-tale world that’s completely deranged, kinda like the stories our parents once read to us… yet… not. Mainly because if they read us stories of knights who had evil minions that went around slaying blood-drinking unicorns and the insane half-lings as a child as well as making the villagers lives that much less meaningful, well, I’ll leave it to your imagination.
Mechanics: all seems well in the graphics department with a colorful environment and vary amusing voiceovers; though in a world filled with happiness there will always be a shadow of disappointment: your character is kinda limited in what he can and can not do, its vary VARY easy to become lost or lose your goal, building up your castel is too fast, and although your minions are more amusing than watching old Jake Chan films while a bit tipsy they become a bit to repetitive.
In the end this game is actually vary fun and funny, but I’m not so sure id recamend it to be bought; but than again, isn’t that why we have Gamefly?
I rate this a 7 out of 10... great idea... too quickly released.
yeah somthing diffrent from all them war war 2 shooters, i like the idea of building up your kingdom , and your little army you have that you can build up as well, you can just go out and make all kinds of choas, the missions are fun voices in the game are good overlord comes off very well, the bad to me is the game has no map and at times you are lost, just odd to me why not put in a map in the game so people dont get lost then get upset, but its worth buying overlord is a joy to play thanks
