By far Over G fighter is one of the best Jet fighter Sims out their. however it only fails when it come to single play mission in which it spawn system is all screwed up, for instance. as soon as you take control of your jet. you get usually two bogeys in front of you heading your way. as soon as you take them out two of their buddy either pops out behind you or on side of you in firing range . here you get two choice run which doesn't much help, or make a u turn and get a missile in your face either way your going to die. with this problem it the game it almost imposable to keep your cool and play the game.
However it still one of the best jet fighter Sims out seeing as it simulates everything from black outs to stales. and it muitl-player option is pretty fun for as long as you don't run into some one who has already beaten the game.
Popped it in and here we go... first of all, the musical score is cheesetastic, stupid slap bass and keyboard, basically sounds like any other jet game I've played.
But for the gameplay, it was VERY difficult at first. You can't play it unless its under REAL flight settings. The arcade controls are impossible.
Another thing, it is a really hard game! If you get one missile shot at you, your gone. One missile will destroy you completely. Your fuel doesn't last long either. Also, when doing a steep turn, you can black out.
Graphics: They suck, Blazing Angels had much better graphics. The textures are really bad and especially the ground. It looks awful, and there are depth perception issues.
I haven't been able to play one multiplayer game yet but I can't imagine it would be easy.
In all, rent it for some easy achievements and a little fun, but once you get to South Africa, you mayaswell take it back.
