Operation Flashpoint: Red River may be realistic but it is the most boring shooter I have ever played. Spending 50% of your time riding around in the back of a Humvee listening to a Sargent, that you will soon want to stab in the face, is no fun at all. The controls suck and directing squad mates is a pain in the azz. Targeting enemies is extremely difficult at best. May be realistic but it is certainly not entertaining!

In my opinion the game was lacking in graphics and maneuverability, two of the most important aspects of a quality game. It could just be me but I highly doubt it, I personally like codemasters but unfortunately studios must release games wheather they're good or not in hopes of making some of that wasted money back. haha, In all I was disappointed simply cause studios are pushing these consoles to they're peak and if the game isn't meeting that standard why even bother.
I fell a sleep twice late at night during the "cut scene" as they are fairly long and you can't do anything save for looking around. The game play is as the developers intended one shot one kill, and that goes for you also. You spend a lot of time patching the idiots you babysit, so most of the time I have them undercover watching my backend and sometimes they can't even do that. If you played the first one it's pretty much the same except the cut scenes are longer.
